Student Council
Students have opportunities to
experience leadership and the democratic process,
and utilize fundraising and community service for
the student body. A faculty member serves as the
advisor. Fourth and fifth grade students are
eligible to be elected as Student Council Officers
twice a school year. Candidates for office learn to
“campaign” and create and deliver a speech to their
peers. Students in grades 3, 4 and 5 may be elected
to serve as Room Representative for their
classrooms. The Student Council meets every other
week after school or at lunch as scheduled.
